1. Unplug the fridge from its power source or turn off the circuit breaker supplying power to the refrigerator.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the frame around the inside of the refrigerator.
3. Gently lift the frame up and off of the refrigerator. This will expose the back of the fridge and the existing closer plate.
4. Unscrew the screws holding the existing plate in place and carefully remove the plate.
5. Slide the new Frigidaire 241917801 closer plate into place and replace the screws to hold it securely in place.
6. Replace the refrigerator frame, making sure all the tabs are lined up.
7. Secure the frame to the refrigerator with the screws you removed earlier.
8. Plug in the refrigerator or turn on the circuit breaker to restore power to the refrigerator.
9. Test out your new Frigidaire 241917801 closer plate to make sure it is working properly.
