Gather all the necessary tools and materials – You’ll need a pair of insulated screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, and a new capacitor (Frigidaire 5304472108).
2. Start by unplugging the appliance from the wall or turning off the breaker for the circuit.
3. Locate the capacitor. It will be on the back or side of the appliance. It should have two wires connected to it.
4. Using the insulated screwdrivers, disconnect the wires from the capacitor. Make sure that you note the color of each wire as this will help when reconnecting the new capacitor.
5. Using the needle nose pliers, remove the capacitor from the appliance.
6. Install the new capacitor in the same spot and reconnect the wires with the same colors as noted before. Make sure the connections are firm and secure.
7. Once the connections are tight, plug the appliance back into the wall or turn the breaker back on.
