Unplug the Frigidaire ice maker from the wall outlet to ensure it will not be damaged during the replacement process.

Step 2: Disconnect the Water Supply Line
Using a wrench, disconnect the water supply line from the back of the ice maker. Place the old tube aside for disposal in the trash.

Step 3: Remove the face plate and mounting screws
Remove the face plate from the ice maker by unscrewing the mounting screws located on the side of the unit. Lift off the face plate and set aside.

Step 4: Remove the old ice maker
Using a wrench, loosen the metal mounting bracket located at the bottom of the old ice maker. Lift the ice maker from its housing and discard in the trash.

Step 5: Install the new Frigidaire Ice Maker
Carefully slide the new ice maker into place in the designated cutout in the freezer. Secure the unit in place using the metal mounting bracket provided.

Step 6: Connect the Water Supply Line
Reattach the water supply line to the back of the ice maker and tighten with a wrench.

Step 7: Reattach the face plate
Secure the face plate back to the side of the ice maker with the mounting screws.

Step 8: Plug in the Frigidaire Ice Maker
Plug the Frigidaire ice maker into the wall outlet before using.
