Before beginning any repairs, it is important to disconnect the power source to the appliance. This helps to prevent shocks or injury while working on any electrical components.

Step 2: Access the Spring

Open the top panel of the appliance and locate the suspension spring. This will generally be attached directly to the lid.

Step 3: Remove the Old Spring
