GE AGITATOR BASE HYBRID ASSEMBL – WH43X34257

This is a genuine OEM part that works for some models of GE, and Hotpoint models. 1. Unplug the washing machine and shut off the water supply.

2. Place a bucket or bowl underneath the agitator to catch any excess water and remove any clothing or objects from the washing machine.

3. Use a screwdriver to remove the bolts securing the base of the agitator to the rest of the washing machine.

4. Carefully lift the agitator out of the washing machine and set it on a flat surface.

5. Remove the cap from the bottom of the agitator and use a socket wrench to unscrew the drive block.

6. Once the drive block is removed, the agitator base can be pulled out.

7. Place the new agitator base in its place and reattach the drive block with the socket wrench.

8. Put the cap back on the bottom of the agitator and secure the base to the rest of the washing machine with the screws.

9. Plug the washing machine back in and turn on the water supply.
