Prepare your workspace by unplugging the machine, clearing the area around the washer, and laying out a towel to cover the surface.

2. Disconnect the water supply hoses from the rear of the washing machine by unscrewing the connection with adjustable pliers.

3. Unscrew the screws that hold the pump in place with a Phillips head screwdriver, then pull out the old pump.
