Control panel interface cover works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of dishwashers. 1. Unplug the dishwasher or turn off the power at the breaker.
2. Open the dishwasher door, and locate the screws on the sides of the control panel interface cover.
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screws, and pull the cover off to expose the dishwasher control panel.
4. Locate the WD34X21699 GE Dishwasher Control Panel Interface Cover and unplug any connections attached to the old control panel interface cover.
5. Insert the WD34X21699 GE Dishwasher Control Panel Interface Cover into place, and reattach any connections needed.
6. Re-secure the new control panel interface cover with the screws removed in step 2.
7. Plug the dishwasher back in or turn on the power at the breaker.
8. Test the new control panel interface cover for proper operation.
9. Close the dishwasher door.
