2. Drain water from the washer.
3. Remove the screws from the back panel of the washer and remove the panel.
4. Locate the old pump at the bottom of the washer and disconnect the two connected hoses, then remove the two mounting screws and remove the pump.
5. Install the new GE WH11X28637 WASHER DRAIN PUMP by connecting it to the hoses and tightening the two mounting screws.
6. Reattach the back panel of the washer and tighten the screws.
7. Plug in the washer and test it to ensure the pump is properly functioning.
