1. Unplug your washing machine from the electrical source.
2. Carefully tip the washer over on its back side and remove the four screws at the bottom of the washer.
3. Slide off the top covering to reveal the existing hub assembly.
4. Disconnect the wires from the existing hub assembly, if present.
5. Remove the two mounting screws that hold the hub assembly in place.
6. Pull the old hub assembly away from the washer.
7. Slide the new GE WH45X10027 Hub Kit into place and secure with the two mounting screws.
8. Connect the wires to their respective terminals on the GE WH45X10027 Hub Kit.
9. Replace the top covering of the washer and secure with the four screws.
10. Plug the washer into the electrical source and test the operation.
