Instructions:

1. Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet.

2. Open the dryer door and inspect the existing latch assembly.

3. Remove any screws holding the latch in place and set them aside.

4. Lift the old latch out of the dryer door and set it aside.

5. Take the new WE1M1011 GE Dryer Door Latch and insert it into the opening of the dryer door.

6. Reattach the screws removed earlier to secure the latch in place.

7. Plug the dryer back in and test the new latch to make sure it is functioning properly.

8. Once you’ve verified the latch is working properly, you can close the dryer door.
