Burner control knob works with some GE, Hotpoint, and RCA models of stoves / ovens / ranges. Step 1: Preparing For Replacement
Turn off your stove and unplug it from the outlet. Lift up the burner cap from the stove and remove the burner grates. Put them aside in a safe place. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the screws holding the control knob onto the stove, this will release the old WB03X21228 GE Stove Burner Control Knob.
Step 2: Installing the New Burner Knob
Insert the new WB03X21228 GE Stove Burner Control Knob into the opening where the old one was located. Make sure that all the metal pins line up with the corresponding slots in the control knob. Replace the screws to hold the control knob in place.
Step 3: Finishing Touches
Plug the stove back into an electrical outlet and turn it on. With the burner caps removed, you can visually inspect the burner knobs to make sure they are turning properly and the burners are lighting up. When you’re satisfied with the performance, replace the burner caps and grates. You have successfully replaced the WB03X21228 GE Stove Burner Control Knob.
