Trust us for all of your General Electric Hotpoint appliance parts and accessories needs. 1. First, turn off the power to the range and unplug it from the wall.

2. Remove the cooktop. Start by lifting the back edge of the cooktop off the counter and disconnect the wiring. Once disconnected, you can raise the cooktop of the range.

3. Locate the spark igniter electrode. It is usually located on the burner head and has an electrical wire connected to it.

4. Remove the old igniter by unscrewing it from the burner head. Disconnect the wiring from the old igniter.

5. Install the new GE WB13K10014 range top burner spark igniter electrode. Start by attaching the electrical wire to the new igniter. Then, screw the igniter in place.

6. Reattach the range cooktop. Align the back of the cooktop onto the range and reconnect the wiring. Once the wiring is connected, press the cooktop down to secure it.

7. Plug the range back into the wall and turn on the power. Test the new igniter by lighting a burner.
