Handle assembly works with some GE, Hotpoint, and RCA models of fridges. Replacing the WB15X24435 GE Refrigerator Handle Assembly
Tools Needed:
-Phillips screwdriver
-Pliers
-Socket wrench
Instructions:
1. Unplug the power connection to your GE refrigerator.
2. Remove the handle screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Use a pair of pliers to disconnect the mounting bracket from the handle.
4. Unscrew the mounting brackets with a socket wrench.
5. Slide out the old handle and slide in the new one.
6. Reconnect the mounting brackets with a socket wrench.
7. Secure the handle by re-installing the handle screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
8. Plug the power cord back into the outlet.
9. Check for proper operation of the new handle.
