Surface burner head – 12k large works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of range / cooktops. 1. Unplug the power cord from the wall.
2. Remove the burner grates and caps.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws securing the burner head to the surface burner.
4. Lift the old burner head off of the surface burner.
5. Insert the new burner head onto the surface burner, aligning the screw holes on the burner head with the holes on the surface burner.
6. Secure the burner head with the original screws. Tighten the screws with the Phillips head screwdriver.
7. Place the burner grates and caps back onto the surface burner.
8. Plug the power cord back in.
