UNIT BROIL ASM DIY Guide to Replacing the GE Range Broil Unit Assembly (WB44X30616)

Replacing your GE range broil unit assembly (WB44X30616) can be a daunting task. But with the right tools and a few easy steps, you can easily complete this project yourself and save money in the process. Here is a quick guide to help you get started!

1. Unplug your stove from the wall outlet. Never work on an appliance while it’s plugged into a power source.

2. Remove the screws and/or clips that secure the insulation around the top of the oven. Carefully lift the insulation up and off, setting it aside.

7. Reinstall the insulation around the top of the oven and reconnect the appliance to the wall outlet.

8. Test the broil element to make sure it is working properly.
