2. Remove any stored food items in the freezer and fridge area.

3. Take off the drawer and shelves as needed, then carefully remove the screws that hold the handle in place.

4. Loosen the panel attached to the back of the fridge and take it off by carefully lifting it up.

5. Unscrew the handle bracket and remove it.

6. Take the new GE WD09X25572 WHITE HANDLE ASM out of the package and clean off the surface with a soft cloth.

7. Line up the hole for the new handle and use the provided screws to attach it in place.

8. Put the panel back on and screw it back in place.

9. Securely fasten the door handle and reattach it to the door.
