2. Remove the rear access panel. The panel is usually held in place by screws.

3. Locate the old thermostat and disconnect the wires from it.

4. Remove the old thermostat and discard it.

5. Place the new GE WE04X25198 thermostat in the same position as the old one.

6. Reconnect the wires to the new thermostat.

7. Replace the rear access panel and secure it with the screws.

8. Plug the dryer back into the electrical outlet.

9. Test the dryer to ensure it is working properly.
