Step 2: Remove the Front Panel of the Dryer – Unscrew the two screws on the bottom right corner of the frame. Pull outward to slide off the panel.

Step 3: Unscrew the Heater Assembly – Unscrew the three screws that secure the heater assembly in place.

Step 4: Disconnect the Wiring Harness – Disconnect the wiring harness from the heater assembly.

Step 5: Remove the Heater Assembly – Carefully pull the heater assembly out. Then, remove the blower fan and lint trap.

Step 6: Install the New Heater Assembly – Place the new heater assembly in the dryer. Reattach the wiring harness and secure the heater assembly with the three screws.

Step 7: Reinstall the Front Panel – Slide the front panel back into place and reinstall the two screws.

Step 8: Test the Dryer – Plug in the dryer and turn it on to test the heater. Once your dryer is functioning properly, you’ve successfully replaced the GE WE11X27152 dryer heater!
