Start by turning off the power supply to the freezer so you can work safely.
2. Remove all food from the lower bin to access the flap door.
3. Remove the two screws that secure the WR17X11653 GE Ice Door Flap Assembly with a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Carefully pull the old assembly out of the bottom of the bin and discard it properly.
5. Position the new WR17X11653 GE Ice Door Flap Assembly in the opening, ensuring the tabs are aligned correctly.
6. Push the assembly into place until it snaps into the bin.
