LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Clothes Washer Washing Machine TUB GASKET SEAL 4036ER4001B Step 1: Unplug your LG washer from the power source and turn off the water valves supplying the washer.
Step 2: Access the back of the washer by removing the rear panel. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws located at the bottom of the back panel.
Step 3: Once the rear panel is removed, locate the tub gasket seal which is a black rubber material that allows for the water to fill the washer tub.
Step 4: Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry out the old tub gasket seal.
Step 5: Install the new tub gasket seal by sliding it into place. It should fit snugly around the tub opening.
Step 6: Reinstall the washer’s rear panel, making sure to align it properly and tightening the screws securely.
Step 7: Restore power to the washer and turn on the water valves. Test the washer for proper operation.
