LG WASHER SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY – 4902EA1002E

LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Clothes Washer Washing Machine Drum Support Suspension Rod Assembly 4902EA1002E Replacing the 4902EA1002E LG Washer Suspension Assembly

1. Disconnect power to the washer.

2. Shut off the water supply.

3. Place a bucket beneath the water inlets on the back of the washer. Unscrew the inlet hoses from the back of the washer and empty the bucket.

4. Drain any remaining water from the washer by tilting it forward and allowing the water to fall into the bucket.

5. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the four screws that secure the top panel to the rear of the washer. Once the screws are unscrewed, slide the top panel off the washer.

6. Locate the suspension assembly, which is located on the inside of the machine behind the tub. It will be held in place with four nuts. Using a socket wrench, remove the nuts and discard them.

7. Carefully remove the suspension assembly and replace it with the new 4902EA1002E LG Washer Suspension Assembly. Make sure to orientate the suspension assembly correctly and secure it with the provided nuts.

8. Replace the top panel, ensuring the four screws are tightened securely.

9. Reconnect the inlet hoses to the back of the washer and turn the water supply back on.

10. Reconnect the power to the washer and test run the washer to ensure that it is working correctly.
