LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Dryer LP to Natural Gas Orifice Conversion 4948EL4001BCall us with your LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Appliance model number to be sure you receive the correct LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Appliance parts. 1. Begin by unplugging the LG Dryer from its power source.
2. Locate the gas outlet valve on the back of the dryer and turn it off.
3. Disconnect the gas line from the inlet side of the gas valve.
4. Secure the new orifice with a wrench.
5. Connect the new natural gas orifice to the valve inlet.
6. Reattach the gas line to the inlet side of the gas valve.
7. Turn the gas outlet valve back on and test the connection for leaks. If you don’t detect any, then you can proceed with the next step.
8. Securely plug the LG Dryer power cord back into the power source.
9. Finally, turn on the LG Dryer and check that it is working properly.
10. Enjoy your newly converted LG Dryer from LP gas to natural gas!
