LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Amana Microwave CHARCOAL FILTER 5230W1A011C 1. Unplug your LG Microwave from the power source and let it sit for five minutes.
2. Remove the screws from the bottom of the appliance.
3. Lift the bottom panel up and away from the microwave. This will reveal the current filter.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the filter in place.
5. Carefully remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
6. Take the new 5230W1A011E LG Microwave Charcoal Filter and slide it into place.
7. Re-secure the filter with the two screws.
8. Replace the bottom panel and re-secure with the screws you removed in step 2.
9. Plug in your LG Microwave to the power source and test it to make sure it is working correctly.
