Heater kit-org-5350w/240v/60 works with some Speed Queen, and Amana models of clothes dryers. DIY: Replace the 964P3 Speed Queen Dryer Heater Kit-Org-5350W/240V/60Hz
Step 1: Unplug the dryer from the power outlet to ensure safety.
Step 2: Remove the back panel. To do this, you need to unscrew the screws that secure the panel with a Phillips head screwdriver. Then pull the panel away gently.
Step 3: Disconnect the gas line. Remove the fasteners that secure the gas line and pull it away.
Step 4: Detach the vent hose. Remove the screws that secure it to the back of the dryer and pull it away.
Step 5: Take out the old heater kit. Take out the screws that secure the old heater kit and remove it from the dryer.
Step 6: Install the new heater kit. Place the new heater kit on the same spot as the old one and secure it with the screws.
Step 7: Reattach the vent hose. Secure the vent hose to the back of the dryer with screws.
Step 8: Reconnect the gas line. Place the gas line back in the same position and fasten it.
Step 9: Put back the back panel. Place the back panel back in the same place and screw it in.
Step 10: Plug the dryer into the power outlet.
Your 964P3 Speed Queen Dryer Heater Kit-Org-5350W/240V/60Hz has now been replaced.
