SPEED QUEEN DRYER DOOR – D510013WP

Door works with some Speed Queen, and Amana models of clothes dryers. 1. Before beginning, turn off the power to your dryer and unplug its power cord from the power source.

2. Remove the existing dryer door handle. Open the dryer door and unscrew the two screws on the side of the handle with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Slide the handle of the door and set it aside.

3. Install the new dryer door handle. Line up the holes in the new handle with the holes in the door. Attach the handle with the two screws and tighten them with the Phillips-head screwdriver.

4. Reconnect the power cord to the power source, then turn on the power. Test out the new handle by opening and closing the door. Check that the handle is working correctly before starting a laundry load.

5. To help the new handle last longer, periodically check that the screws are still tight. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth to keep it clean and dust free.
