Roller cylinder w/instructions works with some Speed Queen, and Amana models of washer / dryers. Replacing the D510708P Speed Queen Washer/Dryer Roller Cylinder
The following instructions will help you replace the D510708P Speed Queen Washer/Dryer roller cylinder. Replacing the roller cylinder is a fairly simple process and shouldn’t take too long.
Tools Needed:
• Phillips Screwdriver
• Flathead Screwdriver
• Pliers
• New D510708P Speed Queen Washer/Dryer Roller Cylinder
Instructions:
1. Unplug the washer/drier from the power source.
2. Remove the top lid to expose the interior of the washer/dryer.
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws holding the control panel assembly in place.
4. Carefully remove the control panel assembly and locate the roller cylinder.
5. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove any additional screws securing the roller cylinder in place.
6. Disconnect the electrical wires attached to the roller cylinder.
7. Use a pair of pliers to remove the roller cylinder from the washer/dryer.
8. Install the new D510708P Speed Queen Washer/Dryer Roller Cylinder by reversing the steps taken to remove the old one.
9. Reattach the control panel assembly and secure it with the screws removed in step 3.
10. Replace the top lid and plug the washer/dryer back into the power source.
