Seal kit, 1992 & newer sm dryer works with some Speed Queen, and Amana models of clothes dryers. How to Replace the RB170001 Speed Queen Dryer Seal Kit, 1992 & Newer SM Dryer
1. Shut off all power to the dryer and unplug the unit from the wall.
2. Remove the top panel of the dryer by removing the screws with a screwdriver.
3. Unscrew the two screws holding the front panel in place and gently pull the front panel away from the dryer.
4. Disconnect the two wires connected at the front of the dryer.
5. Remove the old seal kit from the dryer and replace with the new RB170001 Speed Queen dryer seal kit.
6. Reattach the two wires at the front of the dryer.
7. Secure the front panel in place with the two screws and reconnect all other wiring.
8. Replace the top panel by securing it in place with the screws.
9. Plug the dryer back into the wall and turn on the power.
10. Test the dryer to make sure the replacement seal kit was successful.
