1. Unplug the dryer power cord from the wall outlet to disconnect power and turn off the gas supply to the dryer.

2. Open the dryer cabinet and locate the ignitor.

3. Remove the bracket screws to separate the ignitor from the bracket and slide the ignitor out of its socket.
