DIY Instructions

Tools and Supplies Needed:

• Small flat head screwdriver

• Whirlpool 279318 P1-Terminal Kit

Step 1: Unplug the Refrigerator

Before beginning any repair, always make sure to unplug the refrigerator power cord from the wall socket.

Step 2: Remove the Old Terminal Kit

Using your small flat head screwdriver, remove the screws that are securing the existing terminal kit in place. Carefully pull the wires out of the old terminal kit.

Step 3: Install New Terminal Kit

Take your new Whirlpool 279318 P1-Terminal kit and place the wires into their corresponding terminals. Tighten the screws to make sure a secure connection is made.

Step 4: Secure New Terminal Kit

Once the wires are in place, use the small flat head screwdriver to secure the new terminal kit in place.

Step 5: Reconnect the Power Cord

Once the new terminal kit is secure, plug the power cord back into the wall socket.
