Tools Needed:

-Phillips screwdriver

-Flathead screwdriver

-Replacement Ice Maker Assembly 4317943

Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator.

Step 2: Locate and remove the control panel cover located on the top of the refrigerator. To do this, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the cover in place.

Step 3: Locate the ice maker assembly inside the refrigerator. Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws that are holding the assembly in place.

Step 4: Disconnect the power supply plug from the wall outlet.

Step 5: Gently pull the ice maker assembly out from the refrigerator.

Step 6: Install the new ice maker assembly by aligning the holes in the bottom plate with the pins in the refrigerator. Secure the assembly in place using the flathead screwdriver.

Step 7: Reconnect the power supply plug to the wall outlet.

Step 8: Replace the control panel cover and secure it in place using the Phillips screwdriver.

Step 9: Plug the refrigerator back in and turn it on.

Step 10: Test the ice maker assembly to make sure it is working properly.
