Step 1: Start by unplugging your Whirlpool Range from the wall outlet and turning off the gas supply if it is gas powered.

Step 2: Locate and remove the existing 8-inch Chrome Drip Pan. Usually this will be underneath the cooktop and held in place with screws or retaining clips.

Step 3: Once the old pan has been removed, clean up the area around the opening to ensure the new drip pan fits properly.
