Gaining access to the filter:
1. Locate the water filter housing in the ceiling of the refrigerator compartment.
2. Twist the filter 1/4 turn counterclockwise to unlock and remove.
Replacing the filter:
1. Check the new filter for proper orientation. The arrow on the side of the filter should point toward the refrigerator wall.
2. Insert the filter into the housing.
3. Twist the new filter 1/4 turn clockwise until it is properly seated.
4. Reset the “change filter” indicator light, if your model has one.
5. End by flushing the new filter with one to two gallons of cold water to improve taste and reduce air bubbles.
