FRIGIDAIRE/ELECTROLUX DISHWASHER DOOR – 154533401

This is a genuine OEM part that works for some models of Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, Crosley, Kenmore, and Tappan models. Replacing a Whirlpool 4455556 P1-Cooktop OS1

Tools Needed:

• Flat-head screwdriver
• Needle-nose pliers
• Wrench
• Cooktop

Step 1: Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.

Step 2: Remove the screws that secure the cooktop trim to the countertop with a flat-head screwdriver.

Step 3: Carefully lift the cooktop trim away from the countertop and set aside.

Step 4: Disconnect the electrical wiring connected to the cooktop by using the needle-nose pliers.

Step 5: Loosen the screws that secure the cooktop to the countertop with a wrench.

Step 6: Carefully lift the cooktop from the countertop and set aside.

Step 7: Place the new cooktop on the countertop, making sure it is aligned properly.

Step 8: Secure the cooktop to the countertop with the screws.

Step 9: Reconnect the electrical wiring to the new cooktop and make sure all connections are secure.

Step 10: Place the cooktop trim back on the countertop and secure with the screws.

Step 11: Plug the power cord into the wall socket.

Your Whirlpool 4455556 P1-COOKTOP OS1 has now been successfully replaced.
