Replacing the Filler Mullion Assembly on your Frigidaire 242036306 refrigerator can be a daunting task. This guide will provide step-by-step instructions to help you complete this repair safely and efficiently.

Tools Needed:

• Phillips head screwdriver

• Flat head screwdriver

• Socket set

• Ratchet

• Needle-nose pliers

• Torx screwdriver set

• Work gloves

Instructions:

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

2. Remove freezer door and then open the refrigerator door.

3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the top hinge cover from the interior of the refrigerator.

4. Locate the bottom hinge screws and use a socket set and ratchet to remove them.

5. With the bottom hinge screws removed, carefully lift and remove the bottom hinge hardware.

6. Working on the exterior of the refrigerator, use a flat head screwdriver to remove the top hinge screws and remove the top hinge hardware.

7. Use a Torx screwdriver set to remove the lower Screws holding the flipper mullion assembly in place.

8. With the screws removed, carefully pull out the flipper mullion assembly.

9. Installation of the new Flipper Mullion Assembly is the reverse of removal.

10. Using a needle-nose pliers, reattach the flipper mullion assembly to the door and fridge.

11. Replace the hinge covers and use the Phillips head screwdriver to secure it.

12. Replace the top hinge screws and use a socket set and ratchet to secure it.

13. Replace the freezer door and plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
