1. Prep your tools and supplies. Gather a Phillips head screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, a pair of pliers, a new clock, and a flashlight.

2. Unplug the appliance. Make sure to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before beginning the repair.

3. Remove the face plate. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the face plate in place. With the screws removed, you should be able to pull off the face plate.

4. Disconnect the old clock. Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the screws on the back of the clock. Once the screws are removed, you can wiggle the clock out of place.

5. Disconnect the wiring. Using a pair of pliers, carefully disconnect the wires that were connected to the old clock.

6. Connect the new clock. Plug the new clock into the same wiring as the old one and secure it with the screws on the back.

7. Add the face plate. Place the face plate back onto the appliance and use a Phillips head screwdriver to secure it in place.

8. Turn power back on. Once the clock is connected and all components have been secured, you can plug the appliance back into the wall outlet.

9. Test the clock. Turn the appliance back on and make sure the clock is functioning properly. If it isn’t, adjust the settings until it is.
