1. Unplug your Frigidaire stove from the wall outlet. Make sure that your stove has been disconnected from the power source before beginning the repair.

2.Remove the top burner grates from the top of the stove. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to carefully unscrew the 4 screws that secure the grates. Lift the grates up and off to remove them.

3.Take apart the burner assembly by removing the screws that attach it to the stovetop. Again, use a Phillips head screwdriver to carefully unscrew the screws. Once you have removed all four screws, you should be able to lift the burner assembly off to access the smoothtop burner.

4.Remove the damaged smoothtop burner. Carefully lift it off the stovetop and set it aside.

5. Install the replacement 5304513244 Frigidaire Range Smoothtop Burner. Take the new smoothtop burner and position it in the same place as the old one. Secure it to the stovetop with a Phillips head screwdriver.

6. Reassemble the rest of the burner assembly. Place the screws in the same places you found them and use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten them securely.

7.Replace the top burner grates. Take the burner grates and position them over the top of the stove. Secure them with a Phillips head screwdriver.

8. Plug the stove back into the wall outlet. Make sure it is securely plugged in so it will not be at risk of coming unplugged during operation.
