Instructions

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall to cut off power and keep you safe while working on it.

2. Remove the screws holding the door handle to the door. There should be two screws at the top and two at the bottom of the handle.

3. Using a flathead screwdriver, gently pry off the trim pieces surrounding the door handle. Be careful not to damage the refrigerator door or trim pieces during this step.

4. With the trim pieces removed, you’ll now see the mounting screws for the door handle. Remove these screws carefully and set aside.

5. A new door handle should come with new mounting screws. In the unlikely case that it doesn’t, use the screws you just removed.

6. Now place the new door handle onto the refrigerator door and align the mounting holes with the screws. Use the old screws or the ones included in the new door handle.

7. Reattach the plastic trim pieces around the handle. Make sure they are aligned properly and snap into place.

8. Finally, plug the refrigerator back in and test the door handle works.
