GE 8″ TRIM RING, CHROME – WB31X5014

1. Shut off the power to your oven. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket or turn off the circuit breaker for safety.

2. Remove the oven door. Lay the door on a flat surface with the inside facing up. Unscrew the screws that secure the trim ring to the door.

3. Grab the trim ring gently and pull it upward and outward. Once the trim ring is removed, you can see the screws that hold the trim ring in place.

4. Unscrew the screws and carefully lift away the old trim ring.

5. Place the new trim ring into the opening and make sure it is properly seated.

6. Secure the trim ring with the screws that you removed earlier. Tighten them with a Phillips head screwdriver.

7. Replace the oven door and check that it seals properly. Plug in the power cord or flip the switch on the circuit box back on.

8. Test the oven to make sure it works properly.
