2. Locate the filter location at the back of the fridge near the top.

3. Open the panel and remove the old filter using a flathead screwdriver or other appropriate tools.

4. Once the old filter is removed, insert the new GE WJ71X10657 filter and press firmly until it clicks into place.

5. Close the panel and plug the refrigerator back in to its power source.

6. For optimal performance, reset the filter change indicator, if applicable.

7. Run through a cycle of water dispensing to check for proper operation.
