Trust us for all of your General Electric Hotpoint appliance parts and accessories needs. 1. Disconnect the power to the oven by unplugging it or turning it off at the main circuit breaker panel.
2. Carefully remove the back panel of the oven and unscrew the mounting screws that hold the heating element in place.
3. Pull out the old heating element and insert the new WB30X24401 replacement heating element. Make sure the connections are secure.
4. Reattach the mounting screws to secure the heating element in place.
5. Carefully replace the back panel of the oven.
6. Restore the power to the oven and test the new heating element by turning it on and setting it to broil.
