GE DISHWASHER CONFIGURED MACHINE CONTROL B – WD21X27998

This is a genuine OEM part that works for some models of GE, and Hotpoint models. Step 1: Turn off power to the machine by unplugging it or shut off power at your circuit breaker.

Step 2: Open the top of the washing machine and remove any remaining water from the machine.

Step 3: Disconnect the electrical wiring from the old control board and set it aside.

Step 4: Remove the screws holding the old control board in place and remove them from the machine.

Step 5: Install the new GE WD21X25992 Configured Machine Control B.

Step 6: Secure the new control board by replacing the screws.

Step 7: Reconnect the electrical wiring to the new board.

Step 8: Close the top of the washing machine and plug in the cord or turn on the power at the circuit breaker.

Step 9: Test the new board by running a cycle to ensure proper operation.
