This guide will help you replace the WD21X10268 GE Dishwasher Drain Solenoid and Bracket Assembly. This replacement is a reasonably straightforward process requiring basic skills in repairing appliances. Before you begin, disconnect the power to the dishwasher, as it is a safety precaution.

WD21X10268 GE Dishwasher Drain Solenoid and Bracket Assembly
Instructions
1. The first step is to open the dishwasher door and remove the lower kick panel. This can be done by using a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the panel in place.
2. Once the panel is removed, locate the drain solenoid and bracket assembly. You will see the solenoid located at the bottom of the dishwasher.
3. Take note of the Wiring connected to the solenoid. Disconnect the Wiring and unscrew the mounting screws holding the assembly in place.
4. Carefully remove the old assembly and replace it with the new one. Secure the new assembly using the mounting screws.
5. Connect the Wiring back to the solenoid and secure any other loose wires.
6. Replace the lower kick panel and close the dishwasher door.
7. Turn the power back on to the dishwasher and test to ensure the replacement was successful.
