This is a genuine OEM part that works for some models of GE, and Hotpoint models. 1. Unplug the appliance from the wall and turn off the water supply to the dishwasher to avoid any potential water spills or damage.
2. Detach the bottom panel of the dishwasher from the inside with a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Remove the screws holding the cap filler in place. The cap filler should come off easily.
4. Insert the new GE WD12X24239 cap filler into the hole and secure it with the screws.
5. Reattach the bottom panel of the dishwasher and plug it back into the wall.
6. Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks.
