Flood switch works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of dishwashers. 1. Unplug your dishwasher from the power source.
2. Remove the access panel at the bottom of the dishwasher and locate the flood switch.
3. Unscrew the mounting screws of the flood switch with a Phillips screwdriver.
4. Pull the old flood switch out of the housing and discard it.
5. Take the new WD21X23498 GE Dishwasher Flood Switch and insert it into the housing.
6. Secure the flood switch with the mounting screws.
7. Reconnect the power source to your dishwasher.
8. Test the flood switch by running a cycle on your dishwasher and checking for leaks.
