Hub works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of dishwashers. 1. Disconnect power from the GE Dishwasher by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet or shutting off the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the dishwasher’s two screws inside the door panel to release the upper Rack. Lift the upper Rack up and out of the dishwasher.
3. Unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the dishwasher’s control panel and slide them out of the dishwasher.
4. Pull off the WD22X20688 GE Dishwasher Hub Interface from the control panel and disconnect it from the wires.
5. Take the replacement WD22X20688 GE Dishwasher Hub Interface and begin connecting the wires from the control panel to the new hub interface.
6. Push the WD22X20688 GE Dishwasher Hub Interface back into place in the control panel.
7. Reinstall the control panel onto the dishwasher, and secure it with the two screws.
8. Push the upper Rack back into place and secure it with the two screws that were removed earlier.
9. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet or turn on the circuit breaker to restore power to the GE Dishwasher.
10. Test the replacement WD22X20688 GE Dishwasher Hub Interface to make sure it’s working properly.
