Leveling screw works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of dishwashers. Replacing the WD12X23057 GE Dishwasher Leveling Screw
1. Shut off the power to your dishwasher by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker.
2. Pull the dishwasher away from the wall and remove the access panel located on the lower front side of the machine.
3. Locate the leveling screw on the bottom, which is the WD12X23057. Use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew the screw.
4. Remove the old leveling screw and replace it with a new WD12X23057 GE Dishwasher leveling screw. Make sure to tighten the screw securely in place.
5. Place the access panel back where it was and reconnect the power to the dishwasher.
6. Slide the dishwasher back into place and check to make sure it’s level using a leveler or carpenter’s level.
7. Turn on the power to the dishwasher and test the operation. Your dishwasher should now be properly leveled and operational.
