This Genuine OEM GE WD08X20719 TRIM TUB TOP BB/SS is a genuine replacement part for your GE dishwasher. It fits in the top of the tub and provides an even line along the front of the tub. This part helps keep the dishwasher clean, preventing food particles and water from escaping into the cabinet below. This trim is made of stainless steel with an attractive black finish. 2. Pull the dishwasher out from under the counter and remove the lower access panel by unscrewing the screws along the bottom of the unit.
3. Locate the two mounting screws on the left and right sides of the TRIM TUB TOP BB/SS.
4. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws and set them aside.
5. Carefully pull the TRIM TUB TOP BB/SS out of the dishwasher and set it aside.
6. Place the new TRIM TUB TOP BB/SS into the opening, ensuring it is appropriately aligned.
7. Securely tighten the two mounting screws back into place.
8. Replace the lower access panel and secure it with the screws.
9. Push the dishwasher back under the counter and plug it in.
10. Test the new TRIM TUB TOP BB/SS by running a cycle in the dishwasher.
