Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and turn off the gas supply if applicable.
2. Find the GE WR24X10227 Gasket Door on the back of the refrigerator.
3. Carefully remove the old gasket by pulling it away from the edges of the refrigerator door.
4. Measure the new gasket and compare it to the size of the old gasket. Make sure they are the same size before proceeding.
5. Place the new gasket along the inside edge of the door.
6. Secure the gasket in place with screws or adhesive. You may need to use a combination of both. Make sure the gasket is secure and tightly fitted.
7. Reattach the power supply to the refrigerator and plug it back in.
8. Turn the gas supply back on, if applicable.
9. Test the fit of the new gasket by closing the refrigerator door. If it fits properly, the door should close and seal flush against the gasket.
