Begin by unplugging the dryer from the electrical outlet and moving it away from the wall to access the back of the dryer.
2. Remove the screws securing the dryer’s back panel in place. Once the screws are out, lift the back panel up and off.
3. Locate the blower wheel at the bottom of the dryer. You should see a small fan with fins on its edges.
4. Unscrew the clamp which holds the blower wheel in place. In some models this may require a flathead or Phillips head screwdriver.
5. Pull the old blower wheel out of the dryer and replace it with the new blower wheel using the screwdriver.
6. Re-secure the clamp and ensure that the blower wheel is securely in place.
7. Put the screws that were removed earlier back in place and reattach the dryer’s back panel.
8. Plug the dryer back into the electrical outlet and test the repaired machine.
