Cycle thermostat works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of clothes dryers. 1. Unplug your dryer from the power source to avoid electrocution or injury.
2. Remove the dryer’s back panel to access the thermostat.
3. Unscrew and disconnect the wires connected to the existing thermostat with a screwdriver.
4. Remove the existing thermostat and replace it with a new WE04X25195 GE Dryer Cycle Thermostat.
5. Connect the wires to the new thermostat in the same position as the old one (wire colors should match).
6. Screw the new thermostat in place.
7. Reinstall the back panel and plug the dryer into the power source.
8. Test the dryer for proper operation.
